EACA/SAAK
The School of African Anthropology and Knowledge (École d’Anthropologie et de Connaissances Africaines).
At the heart of the QUEFBRIDGE® ecosystem, EACA/SAAK holds a place apart: that of an international school entirely dedicated to transmitting indigenous African knowledge, open to all nationalities under strict conditions.
Rooted in anthropology and African knowledge
The EACA/SAAK concept draws its roots from African anthropology, Ifà, Vodoun and the knowledge systems specific to the continent – a rare undertaking that makes this school a place of transmission as much as of academic teaching.
A unique educational architecture
- Academic programmes, forming a complete pathway centred on African knowledge.
- An Ifà House, with traditional masters in residence, guarantors of the living transmission of knowledge.
- Three African-language programmes: Yoruba, Fon and Ewe.
- Exclusive certifications specific to EACA/SAAK.
High-level academic partnerships
EACA/SAAK aims to establish partnerships with academic institutions of global standing in the study of Africa, a choice that anchors the approach in international academic rigour while clearly distinguishing it from a folkloric or museum-style treatment of African knowledge.
The distinctive pillar of the network
Where the other components of QUEFBRIDGE® meet international training standards, EACA/SAAK embodies the promise of rootedness: it is concrete proof that indigenous African knowledge deserves an institution worthy of its richness, and not a mere mention in a broader programme.
